District 2
David Lindemann,
Incumbent
I am running for an SCTC board member position because of my desire to serve my community and help to direct a great cooperative company. I have served on the SCTC Board of Directors for the past 9 years and would love to continue as a board member in the future. I have owned one successful business for 27 years and a second one now for 6 years. In the course of owning businesses over the past years, I have gained a lot of knowledge in quite a few areas of business and people management.
I have lived in the general area all my life, and my wife and I have raised 2 children, who both attended school in Stayton. Our children are grown and in their own careers, which provides more time for me to focus on volunteering in our community.
Thank you for your consideration.
District 4
Michael Callahan, Incumbent
It has been an honor serving the members of SCTC on the Board of Directors. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to expand my involvement and impact in the community that has given so much to me and my family. I have very much enjoyed serving you and developing my telecommunication knowledge to ensure the best decisions are made for the success of the company and ultimately the benefit of our members!
If re-elected to your Board of Directors I will continue to utilize my hands-on experience as a small business owner in budgeting, goal setting, and building and maintaining relationships alongside the knowledge I have gained in this ever-changing and challenging industry. I appreciate your continued support!
District 7
Leon Adams, Incumbent
As a lifelong resident of Stayton,I grew up in this town! Once married,we chose to stay in the area (Sublimity) to raise our own children and now enjoy our grandkids growing up here. We have watched and participated in the growth of our communities with pride. With over 38 years in the autobusiness, I retired as General Manager from Skyline Ford (2015) and Wilson Motors (2019). My skills of leadership, budgeting, forecasting, working within many factory and dealership committees, plus over seeing all operations, will bring a strong ability to project future needs of our systems and community.
As Director, I have a responsibility to review all sides of each proposal, recommendation and decision that is brought forward. In my past business experience, I managed these exact issues on a day-to-day basis. These included dealing with large funds, budgets, expenses, facility management and much more. I’m confident my past business skills will enhance the Board of Directors of Stayton Cooperative Telephone Company as we look forward and plan for current and future growth.
Thank you for your support!
