CPNI
SCTC/PTC/SCS Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI)
The Federal Communications Commission has adopted rules that give you the right to protect your CPNI, such as type, technical arrangement, quantity, destination, and amount of use of telecommunications services and related billing services. We have a duty to protect your personal information and assure you that we would not make your personal information available to businesses or people outside the company without your permission.
Stayton Cooperative Telephone Company (SCTC), People’s Telephone Company (PTC), and SCS would like to be able to use your CPNI only within our family of companies to provide you with valuable information and announce product and service offerings that would be beneficial to you. To do this we must have your permission. Fortunately, you don’t have to do anything to grant permission.
If you wish to restrict SCTC, PTC, SCS, or our affiliates’ use of your information, please register your request by calling us at (503) 769-2121 within 30 days of this notice. You may also notify us by sending your written request to Stayton Cooperative Telephone Company, P.O. Box 477, Stayton, OR 97383.
No action by you is necessary to permit us to use your information as described in this notice. We will not share your information at any time with people outside of our companies.
Your current service will not be affected in any way whether or not you restrict use of your CPNI. If you restrict use of your CPNI, this decision will carry over to any new services to which you are subscribed. We are required to send out notices every two years to remind you of your options, however, you can change your approval at any time.
If you have questions regarding your CPNI, please contact us at (503) 769-2121.
